Cliffnotes
Kristen Steinhardt is a designer and photographer based in New York. Her passion for art and design began at an early age when skipping class to take the Long Island Rail Road and explore the works she had read about at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim. Living in New York provided the chance to fully immerse herself in the art world, an opportunity that continues to inspire and shape her creative journey.
After high school, Kristen carved a unique path, graduating with latin honors after spending several years balancing college courses with three jobs—as a photographer, graphic designer, and launching an art company. She took a two-year break from school when invited to become the Marketing and PR Director for a tech startup focused on building solar electric aircraft. This role, one of the most challenging of her career so far, provided invaluable skills that still drive her work today. During her time at the startup, Kristen discovered gyroplanes and played a key role in launching one of the first successful gyroplane dealerships in the U.S. Her favorite part of the experience was helping design the aesthetics of the avionics display and design aircraft interiors.
During the pandemic, Kristen redirected her focus and transitioned to the corporate side of private aviation, traveling the world for two years and gaining a deep understanding of the charter industry. She now serves as Vice President / Director of Marketing at Executive Fliteways.
